Outside Voice is where RasaReka documents the community work. The petitions, the food drives, the fundraisers, the things that needed doing outside of class and client projects. Some of it is ongoing and some of it is done. But, hopefully all of it matters.

Housing Support for a Mother of Two
A member of our community is navigating housing insecurity while raising two kids. We're raising funds directly, whatever you can give goes straight to her.
Yoga Class to Feed The Movement, Charlotte.
A yoga class where your mat fee goes toward feeding people. This is a recurring offering — dates are still being scheduled, so check back here or follow along to know when the next one is happening. Come move. Leave knowing it went somewhere.
Pay Yoga Teachers at the Whitewater Center
Yoga teachers at the U.S. National Whitewater Center were not being compensated for their work. This petition was started to change that. We didn't get the pay, but we got people talking. (And, sometimes that's how it starts.)
Food Drive
In partnership with SEAC (Southeast Asian Coalition), we organized a local food drive to support families with culturally appropriate food in the Charlotte community. This one's done — but the need isn't. If you want to support SEAC's ongoing work, they're worth knowing about.
