Why RasaReka?

In my language, Rasa means taste. You know the feeling, sensations that lands before words have a chance to catch up. Reka means create. Together they describe what I've spent my life learning to do - creating the conditions to be felt, understood, and moved by.

That happens on a yoga mat, in a facilitated room. On a website. The medium changes but the intention doesn't.

RasaReka is where those three practices live, not as separate services, but as different entries into the same work. Helping people whose work has outgrown its old structures and creating this welcoming shape to grow into sustainably whether its yoga or websites.

The generosity of listening to me talk endlessly about my life! I really enjoyed having the deeper conversations which I know worked its way into both the design and copy of the site. That said, these conversations were skilfully facilitated with outcomes in mind, which was clearly mapped out at the beginning of the workplan.

Skill in Action

Skill in Action has been a guiding place for many people practicing yoga through the lens of justice. Over the years the site expanded from the book to holding more and more offerings, teachings, and resources. And, it was time for it to breathe again. With the addition of the new on-demand course as well a growing team of facilitators, the site was re-designed to feel clear, steady, and reflective of where the work is now.
