How to edit text
Hover over the section you want to edit and click directly on the text block.
Type your new content or adjust what’s already there.
Use the Text Style dropdown (Normal, Heading 1, Heading 2, Quote, etc.) to set the format.
Design Best Practice:
⤷ Heading 1 (H1): Used once per page, usually for the main page title. Helps with SEO and accessibility.
⤷ Heading 2 (H2): Breaks content into sections (think “chapters” of the page).
⤷ Heading 3 (H3) & Heading 4 (H4): Used for sub-sections or to highlight supporting ideas.
⤷ Paragraph Styles (P1, P2, P3): Different levels of body text, often adjusted for hierarchy or emphasis.
In this video, I dive deeper into editing the text on your site, focusing on the text styles I've already set up for you, including headings and paragraphs. I explain the importance of visual hierarchy and accessibility, emphasizing how to use headings correctly to enhance both user experience and SEO.
I encourage you to think about the importance of each section as you create new pages, ensuring that your updates maintain a consistent and polished look. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out, and we can set up a design day to fix any issues.
